Universal Declaration of the Human Rights

"Down with the grey!" is the artistic result of an extraordinary initiative. For several months, in Rome and in many Italian cities, more than one thousand disabled people have taken part as protagonists in many meetings and discussions in order to think, in a current way, over the "Universal Declaration of the Human Rights". The contradictions related to the death penalty and the promotion of the human rights in developing countries, particularly in Africa, have emerged as priority themes. For several years "The Friends" have been supporting the reconstruction of a hospital in Guinea Bissau and have been engaged in the defence of the people sentenced to death.
