Maputo (Mozambique)
Two Containers of Sanitary Equipment have Arrived
After about one month navigation two containers of sanitary equipment have arrived from Italy: the content is destined to the surgeries of the anti-AIDS program.

The two containers of sanitary equipment left Genova one month ago: they arrived at the Maputo's port on 13 July. They are full of disposable materials - gloves, needles, bandages - which are useful s to grant sterility even when the hygienic conditions are poor. The containers also have furniture and medical equipment for the health centres in the cities of Mozambique where the anti-AIDS therapy has begun.

The greatest part of the equipment is a gift of European hospitals and firms.
