His
story
Efrain,
a young man of poor Mexican origins, was just 17 years old when he
was accused of a crime he had been always denying. He was among a
group of four boys -today all of them in death row- who killed a man
during a robbery. Efrain had always been saying he did not shoot at
all. In spite of that and even though he was under age at the time
of the events, he saw his execution date set for June 23rd 2004.
