Carolina City Passes Moratorium Resolution

a vote of 8-1, the city of Greensboro became the eighth local
government in North Carolina to pass a resolution calling for a
moratorium on the death penalty.
Supporting the moratorium were three pro-death penalty
Republican council members. "I have very deep concerns about the equitability, the
equality, and the efficiency" of the administration of the
