Room at the Inn this Christmas

To make sure that no one misses out on a hearty Christmas Lunch in rome, each year for the past twenty five years, the St Egidio community sets up an open feast in the hall of the Basilica of St Maria in Trastevere. The guest list is made up of the poor, homeless and destitute. Spokesperson for the lay community, Claudio Betti, spoke to Chris Altieri about making room at Christmas for the poorest of the poor�
