The Press Office of the meeting is located at Via di S. Gallicano, 25. It will be open everyday from 8:30 to 20:00. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Press Office.

We are available to facilitate your job during the three days of the Meeting.

On the afternoon of the Inauguration, from 16:00 on, a Press Room will also be set up in the building directly across from the Auditorium Conciliazione (entrance on Via dell’Ospedale, 1). Accredited journalists will be admitted upon showing the badge issued by the Press Office. TV cameras are not allowed to shoot footage in the adjacent Pio X hall, where the public that couldn’t find a seat in the Auditorium will be able to follow the event through a live hook-up. TV cameras will be admitted in the Auditorium, where a special section will be reserved for them. Available copies of the speeches will be distributed in both Press Offices. The one on Via dell’Ospedale 1 will have a video hook-up to the Auditorium.   

For the concluding Ceremony, the Capitol (Campidoglio) will set up a Press Room in the Piccola Protomoteca. Accredited journalists may gain access through the entrance on via della Consolazione, showing their badge.

Available texts of speeches delivered during the Panel discussions will be distributed in the Press Office on via San Gallicano. The Press Office will send brief summaries (20-25 lines) of the panel discussions to all accredited journalists via email. The badge issued at the time of accreditation will be sufficient to attend the various Panel discussions organized during the meeting. Anyone interested in interviewing guest speakers should make a specific request to the Press Office, which will facilitate a meeting, if possible.

To attend the Panel at the Rebibbia Jail on the subject “The courage to hope” (October 1, 9:30-11:30), professional journalists  should submit a request for a specific accreditation via email  - for themselves and eventual photographers and cameramen – to the following address: :    [email protected].

Access to the jail will be through via Raffaele Maietti, 70. The prison administration asks that you arrive by 8:45.
