"Wrongly
Convicted: Perspectives on Failed Justice"-
This
book features a collection of essays and articles about wrongful
convictions by some of the nation's most respected lawyers, sociologists,
criminologists, and psychologists.
The essays consider the causes of wrongful convictions, the social
characteristics of the innocent men and women sent to prisons and death
rows, personal stories and case studies of these innocent inmates, and
suggestions for system-wide reforms in order to prevent future wrongful
convictions.
