Raskin Arie Zeev

Rabbi of Larnaca, Cyprus

Born in 1976. He lives in Cyprus. He reopened the Larnaka synagogue which had been closed for a long time. He has been committed to the revival of the Jewish community on the island since 2003. He wishes to give new life to the Jewish tradition.
Rabbi Raskin lives with his family near the Larnaka Synagogue. The Synagogue is a cultural centre where different initiatives take place (English and Hebrew library, discussion groups on Jewish issues, Talmud and Torah study groups).
He has opened an International Jewish School in Cyprus and has been organizing summer activities for Jewish tourists visiting the island.
