Gnilka Joachim


Catholic theologian, Germany

Joachim Gnilka, born in 1928, Professor of New Testament Exegesis and Biblical Hermeneutics at the University of Munich, is one of the most famous and estimated catholic biblist, author of many works with a scientific high-value, about New Testament and Corpus Paulinum books. When he was teaching in Munich, he was colleague of Josef Ratzinger.
We remember the volume Bibel und Koran: was sie verbindet, was sie trennt concerning the relation between Bible and Koran, a topic which had interested Joachim Gnilka’s  studies in the last years.
