APPEAL FOR PEACE

"PEACE IN ALL LANDS- PACEM IN TERRIS"

On the occasion of the publishing of Pope John Paul II�s Message for the celebration of the World Day for Peace of January the 1st 2003, Pacem in terris: a permanent commitment, we want to join Pope�s words and solicitude for peace in our world. The world is so much divided and marked by fractures, injustice, poverty and violence today.

Peace is not impossible. Many wars can be reconciled.

We are convinced that peace depends also on the hearts� attitude. That is why we commit ourselves to do everyday those gestures of peace necessary to human co-existence, able to support peace and recompose human relationships where they are lacerated, without surrendering to pessimism and discouragement.
