The construction of the first ten houses is at a good point in the village of San Francisco, among the most heavily stricken by the second earthquake, on February 13th 2001 (90% of the houses collapsed). It was chosen by the Community for the reconstruction.
The houses will be all with three rooms and a large veranda, to satisfy the needs of the farmers that will live in them.
There will be no bathrooms because the village has no water or sewer system, but close to every house biological pits will be built.
The new houses are guaranteed to resist, also because most of the victims of the earthquake thanks to the land bill passed at the beginning of the eighties are the owners of the land they live on and no one shall be able to drive them out of the new houses the Community is building for them.
