Down with the gray! 2004

This is an exhibition like no other. "Down with the grey!" is the artistic result of a friendship which has lasted over thirty years, between hundreds of disabled friends in the Community of Sant'Egidio and various other associations.
In previous years, artists have confronted important issues, such as the New Millennium, Friendship, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and Handicap.

This year, the subject is the CITY, those in which we live and those in which we would like to live, as well as cities of the world with their positives and problems.
For the first time, some artists have gone in search of a different language, and alongside paintings and drawings they have explored photography, models and recycled materials.
It is a more courageous exhibition, affirming our liberty to create and communicate in new ways.
