Palmer Robert

Director of Culture and Cultural and Natural Heritage, Council of Europe

For more than 20 years he has worked in the sector of cultural development, tourism and arts policies.
He was the director of Brussels 2000, which involved the development and management of cultural projects to mark the designation of Brussels as European City of Culture for the year 2000
In Scotland he has been the Director of Cultural Affairs for the city of Glasgow, and prior to this he was the Director of the Scottish Arts Council.
Currently he is the Head of the Directorate of Culture and Cultural and Natural Heritage at the Council of Europe.
