SUMMER HOLIDAYS WITH LONG DISTANCE ADOPTED CHILDREN IN LACEJA (COLOMBIA)
10th may2011

Summer’s just finished in Colombia.

It was the occasion to plan holidays for the 70 long distance adopted children in La Ceja, a town 40 Km far from Medellin.

These children and teenagers, orphans or coming from poor families, live in the “Guardian Angels“ foster home. Here they receive shelter, food, clothes, medical visits and they have the possibility to study.

I
n the free time children usually attend different leisure activities, they play sports or take computer class.

Let’s follow them to see their summer holidays…
Many amusing parties..

Children and teenager playing drama and dance …
Let’s go to the swimming-pool!

In a situation of poverty, social problems and family disintegration, international foster care gives many children the opportunity to grow-up peacefully and to hope in a better future, far from street dangers.

Sono state organizzate delle feste

I bambini e i ragazzi si sono esibiti in spettacoli e balli

E poi tutti in piscina!
