Thursday, September 11, on the anniversary of the tragic attack on New York in 2001, the Community of Sant'Egidio will gather in prayer to commemorate the victims of terrorism in the Basilica of St. Maria in Trastevere, at 8.30 pm.
The vigil will be presided by Msg. Matteo Zuppi, Ecclesiastical Assistant to the Community.
The attendance of hundreds of official figures from various authorities, including several ambassadors, is expected. |
