The youth and the elderly of Goma prayed together on Saturday 26 October. The place is poor, but the prayers are heartfelt and moving: Anastasia is praying for Pope Francis, and so is Josephine.

While Marcellina, who lives in a very poor recently flooded house, is praying so that the "spirit of Assisi" is affirmed. She is poor, but she knows that dialogue is the guarantee of peace.

At the end of the prayer, the friends of the Community of Sant'Egidio gave her a nice sturdy plastic tarp to cover her small house in the days of the rains.
