President Eddie Fenech Adami will be going to Cyprus tomorrow afternoon to attend an international meeting for peace The Civilisation of Peace: Faiths and Churches in Dialogue” organised jointly by the Church of Cyprus and the Comunita’ Di Sant’Egidio in Nicosia.
The President was invited to Cyprus by the Archbishop of Cyprus Chrysostomos II and the Comunita’ Di Sant’Egidio. In the evening, he will be addressing the meeting's opening session and on Monday taking part in a panel discussion about xenophobia and philoxenia.
While in Cyprus, President Fenech Adami will be meeting his Cypriot counterpart Demetris Christofias and Archbishop Chrysostomos II, as well as former Cypriot Presidents Glafkos Clerides, George Vassiliou and Tassos Papadopoulos. President Fenech Adami will return to Malta on Wednesday.
