If you are ill nobody helps you, but when I am with you I am not afraid.“
Estella, who suffers from a severe form of epilepsy, has taken
inspiration for this painting from a work of a Russian abstractionist painter.
The author has identified herself in the "human figure"
sitting on the floor, with the reclined head.
In the left side of her painting she has reproduced the image maintaining
the dark colours of the original painting. In the right side, instead,
she has painted again the figure in specular position,
surrounded by joyful people. |
