On the streets

In the countries of the South, in Africa and Latin America, the Community of Sant� Egidio has come across numerous beggars and poor people who live on the streets.

Many of them are disabled, often physically but also mentally and they have not been able to find an alternative way of living. The Community supplies them with free food, often indispensable to the survival of those who have nothing. These food distributions are also occasions to meet others.	Mozambique
