Last week the President of Sant'Egidio, Marco Impagliazzo, visited the Community in London. The meeting has highlighted the importance of living and spreading the joy of being Christians, to win loneliness and the isolation of the poor in a big city.

Everywhere in the world, friendship with the poor is a basic characteristic of Sant'Egidio, also in London, where the Community visits the poor on the street: an important moment attended also by Marco Impagliazzo, who participated to the round of distribution of dinner with the homeless in the British capital.
