the Community of Sant'Egidio and the Church of Cyprus
In the heart of the Mediterranean Sea Sant’Egidio will gather for three days Heads of State from Europe, Africa and Central America.
300 lay and religious figures including cardinals and patriarchs, together with the Chief Rabbi fo Israel, Yona Metzger, Ezzeddin Ibrahim, Counsel to His Highness the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Holiness Ravishankar of India, and the Chinese Christian primates and leaders of other confessions.
Contributions will be made by Ingrid Betancourt, Elías Antonio Saca the President of Salvador, Amadou Toumani Toure, together with the Patriarch of Alessandria, Theodoros II and the Metropoitan Archbishop of Cyprus, Chrysostomos, among others, in what is the major forum of dialogue between the faithful of different religions and cultures of the year, with its venue at the crossroads between Europe and the Middle East.
In the next few days a press conference will provide to the media and the public opinion news on the participants, and on the round tables and the events that will mark the International Meeting.

METHOD OF ACCREDITATION
The Ortodox Church of Cipro and the Community of Sant’Egidio are available for any further information may be necessary to arrange major contributions or in-depth reports.
Journalists, photo-reporters, radio and TV operators MUST send the accreditation application for the event to the Press Office of Sant’Egidio Community.

To be accredited one must send:
1) A headed e-mail., or fax, or letter with the request for accreditation, signed by a director or senior manager.
2) The number of professional and personal documents.
3) The regular address for future communication (including an address for any urgent communication).
The accreditation badge can be obtained directly in Cyprus.
The letter of accreditation, 2 photographs and professional and personal documents must be presented before the badge is given out.
