Thousands of young participants in World Youth Day in Madrid these days are participating in the meetings, vigils of prayer and solidarity initiatives promoted, under the joint program, by the Community of Sant'Egidio, who attended the day with a large delegation of young people from 30 countries not just from Europe, but from Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

Even an invitation to join the efforts of the solidarity of the Community of Sant'Egidio in Madrid last night, many were scattered through the streets of the city, to distribute the dinner to the homeless.

Friday, August 19, in one of the Stations of the Cross, the cross will be held by ten boys (Italian, Belgian and Spanish) that serve the poor throughout the year in the Community of Sant'Egidio. ►
