The Community of Sant'Egidio rejoices with the news that the Pope has appointed the Rev. Francis. Jean Pierre Delville, professor of the history of Christianity at the University of Leuven and, since his youth, a member of the Community in Belgium, bishop of the diocese of Liege, Belgium.
