| The variety of meetings organised by the Community of Sant’Egidio, in the framework of the WYD, have attracted many young people. On August 17th, more than 3000 of them, coming from about 30 countries, have gathered in Santa Maria in Trastevere Square to witness that “love is stronger than death”. A speech by Andrea Riccardi followed a moving remembrance of martyrs from all continents who died in 20th century. At the end of the meeting all the participants joined the evening prayer of the Community. |
