A big party, in Kampala, for the birthday of Pascasia, who with her 55 years has an age that for Uganda, as for other African countries, can make her be considered elderly.  

It was the first time in her life that she celebrated her birthday. The youngsters that attend the School of Peace have organized and animated the party, in which took part the elderly of whom the Community of Sant'Egidio of Kampala became friend.

In Uganda our communities live a deep friendship with the elderly, that - besides other things - creates a bridge between generations.
