They are very poor villages, as seen from the thatched houses. And the elders –above all those living alone - are the poorest of the poor. But for the youth of the Community of Sant'Egidio of Adjumani, they are their most loved friends.

This is why, in recent days, they loaded blankets, clothes, bowls for washing, drinking water cans, pots and other utensils for domestic furnishing and left for a long tour in the villages, to distribute these gifts to the elderly who, as we see in the photos, received them with joy.
