 In Canapé- Vert, in the outskirts of Port au Prince,under a white tent, seated on the ground on blue sheets - it is a makeshift situation that is going to change in a few days with the arrival of chairs and tables- school started again.
Children study, they draw but, most of all they try to return to a "normal"life among the tents that are made up of sheets held up by wooden poles. These are the houses of those who have lost everything in the earthquake.
With tenacity the young people of the Community of Sant'Egidio of Haiti, supported by the friends of the Communities of Central America who alternate in various "aid missions", have restarted the School of Peace
After days of despair, the smile returns on the faces of these children and their mothers. They too partipipate to the School of Peace watching their little ones with a amazement and hope. Life starts once again from the little one.
