On the night of Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, 1 May 2011, 23 at 2:30 pm The Community of Sant'Egidio will animate a prayer vigil waiting for the beatification of John Paul II at the Basilica of St. Bartholomew on Tiber Island, the memorial place of the martyrs of the twentieth and twenty-first century.
The Basilica of St. Bartholomew on Tiber Island is one of the Roman churches that will host prayer vigils where pilgrims can go on hold for the beatification of John Paul II.

Sunday, 1 May 2011, the Community of Sant'Egidio wishes to express its gratitude for the beatification of John Paul II in a Thanksgiving Mass to be celebrated in the Basilica of St. Maria in Trastevere at 18.30.
