| On the 6th of July, in “Rebibbia” jail, the Community of Sant'Egidio together with the chaplain, don Sandro Spriano, organised an interreligious prayer service. Several hundreds of inmates of different faiths have taken part in the ceremony, together with the Imam of the Rome Mosque, H.E. Mahmud Hamamd Sheweita, Fr. Juvenalie of the Orthodox Patriarchate of Romania, Abbà Gabriel, of the Orthodox Church of Ethiopia, and two priests of the Greek-Catholic Church of Ukraine. |
